How to create a superset

Group exercises into supersets to get more done in less time.

Create a superset

  1. Add at least two exercises to a workout or a routine.

  2. Tap the three dots beside an exercise name, then tap Add to Superset.

  3. In Manage Supersets, tap another exercise to group with the first one. The grouped exercises appear together under Superset, connected by a colored line.

The three-dot menu beside Bench Press is open, showing Add to Superset.

Superset auto-scroll

Reps highlights the next set when you complete a set in a superset. Superset Auto-Scroll is on by default and will bring that set into view. Superset Auto-Scroll can be turned off in Settings, under Workout.

Supersets in routines

You can add a superset when creating or editing a routine. Once you save the routine, your superset will be included whenever you start it.

Add more exercises to a superset

You can add as many exercises as you need to a superset, not just two.

Tap the Superset label to open Manage Supersets, or tap the three dots beside a grouped exercise and choose Edit Superset. Tap an ungrouped exercise, then tap one of the exercises in the superset. Repeat for each exercise you want to add.

Remove exercises or a superset

In Manage Supersets:

  • To remove one exercise from the superset, tap its three dots, then tap Remove from Superset.
  • To remove the whole superset, tap the three dots beside any of its exercises, then tap Remove Superset. The exercises and their sets stay in place.
